Falconry Adventure
During our medium-duration hike, we will take some time to stop and learn about the ancient art of falconry. But that’s not all: get ready for an adrenaline rush as we watch the falcons stoop through the air at incredible speed – sometimes just centimeters away from our heads! As if that wasn’t exciting enough, each participant will also have the opportunity to hold a trained falcon on its glove and capture unforgettable souvenir photos. After interacting with these amazing birds of prey, it’s time to meet another feathered friend – the Harris hawk! These hawks are known for their exceptional intelligence and hunting skills. So come explore nature like never before while enjoying interactive experiences with our birds of prey!
As much as we love dogs, no pets are allowed for safety reasons concerning our birds.
Simple outdoor clothing with hiking or walking shoes is ideal or jeans with a top and/or jacket of your choice. Elegant clothing is not recommended.

The chosen route is of medium difficulties , and can be shortened if the participants wish to do so, leaving more space for static interaction with the bird of prey.
yes it possible to choose a different route. the main chosen location is Landskrone castle in Leymen, but it’s possible to choose a flatter route and a simpler location.
Yes with the camera of your choice, even with professional cameras with large lenses.
During summer, the best time is in the morning (08:00 – 11:00) or in the evening (17:00 – 21:00), preferring the cooler hours of the day. During winter, the latest possibility is 14:30 – 16:15 due to early sunset. During the other periods, anytime during the day is possible.
If it rains lightly, the activity will take place but in case of heavy rain or storm we will have to postpone the appointment.

There is a maximum number of 6 people to participate in a falconry expedition. For more than 6 participants, we are happy to organize an event with additional birds of prey. Please approach us to get a quote.
