As you embark on this journey, a trained bird of prey – typically a Harris hawk – will follow closely behind us.  This is a thrilling adventure for people of all ages (including children) and it provides an opportunity to connect with one of nature’s most fascinating creatures.


The Harris hawk is unlike any other bird of prey highly social and enjoys interacting with humans.  During the Hawk walk, you’ll learn more about this magnificent creature while walking along an easy path through the forest.  All you need are good hiking shoes!  So if you’re ready to escape from your routine and embrace something truly extraordinary – book your Hawk Walk today!

  • initial briefing (the correct way to approach birds of prey)

  • CHF 150 for 1 – 2 persons+ CHF 30 per each extra person

Simple outdoor clothing with hiking or walking shoes is ideal or jeans with a top and/or jacket of your choice. Elegant clothing is not recommended.

For safety reasons for the birds of prey, pets are not allowed.

The chosen route is a very simple with minimal gradients, and can be shortened if the participants wish to do so, leaving more space for static interaction with the bird of prey.

Yes with the camera of your choice, even with professional cameras with large lenses.

During summer, the best time is in the morning (08:00 – 11:00) or in the evening (17:00 – 21:00), preferring the cooler hours of the day. During winter, the latest possibility is 14:30 – 16:15 due to early sunset. During the other periods, anytime during the day is possible.

If it rains lightly, the activity will take place but in case of heavy rain or storm we will have to postpone the appointment.

There is a  maximum number of 6 people to participate in a hawk walk. For more than 6 participants, we are happy to organize an event with additional birds of prey. Please approach us to get a quote.
